Can’t you just picture yourself sitting there, sea breeze gently rustling your hair, toes gradually embedding ever so slowly in the sand with the peace and tranquility of the waves washing all your cares away?

Who doesn’t love the beach?  Here are the top 5 reasons you need to add Panama City Beach, Florida as a future vacation destination:

1.  Just look at this water.

The colors are incredibly gorgeous and even when fully immersed to your shoulders you can still see your toes through the crystal clear water.  This beach is superior to many of the Caribbean beaches I’ve seen.

2.  Sugar white, fine powder sand.

It couldn’t be more fine if it had been sifted through a sieve.  It feels soft and silky between your toes.  You know what else?  It actually squeaks under your feet.

3.  No one expects anything from you.

You are free to relax, soak up the sun and take care of yourself for a change. For me that means I am not living in the bathroom with Josiah.  I am not waking up a few times every night checking on him.  I am not preparing heaping mounds of food for his ever increasing appetite all hours of the day.  My biggest decision is which bathing suit to wear each day.

4.  Your home away from home looks like a model home.

All the amenities and more that you could ever hope to find, just steps from the beach with magnificent views from the balcony and master bedroom.  Just pack your swim suit, flip flops, sunscreen and a cover up and you are good to go.  Seriously, I have never seen a more well stocked kitchen, not even in my own home.  There is a Wal-Mart within walking distance to load up on groceries and plenty of restaurants nearby if you prefer not to cook.  The care and attention given by the owners is matched by none.  They are truly interested in making your stay the best experience ever.

5. Amazing adventures await.

There is a wealth of activity available from water excursions to shopping expeditions and everything in between. Our Catamaran sunset sail was incredible, complete with dolphin sightings,  a rainbow arching across the horizon and a complimentary beverage while on board.

If you are in need of some respite, if you need some ‘you’ time, if you just want to get away from it all and pretend for even a little while yours is a life of leisure, don’t hesitate.  Put it on your calendar.  You owe it to yourself.

You will return to your family a more rested, much better version of yourself, which is really great for you and your family.
