While that may very well be true, we are powerless to come up with THE name for Josiah’s new business. After many months creating behind the scenes, this new business venture remains unveiled, all due to lack of a name.
Josiah and one of his amazing caregivers embarked on this new enterprise about 6 months ago.
The Josiah whisperer shared this business idea with me when Josiah was still in the midst of difficult challenges. I’m well aware he works miracles with Josiah but from my perspective, this seemed like a stretch, even for him. We were struggling to get through the days with no painful episodes of aggression/self-injury. Contemplating a business endeavor at that point was not on my radar.
I should know better than to doubt the whisperer’s wisdom. He and Josiah have a special connection that defies description. He speaks and Josiah complies. Truly remarkable.
As soon as the supplies were purchased, the adventure began. They started out slowly, making sure Josiah understood what was expected. The Whisperer patiently waited for Josiah to focus and engage in each step of the process. Josiah chose the colors. He decided how much of each color was needed and exactly where those colors should go. Occasionally, Josiah thought he might like to taste those colors.
Often times those colors ended up all over Josiah
But look how happy it makes him. Josiah really enjoys this. He and his business partner have been very busy these past many months and today is the day to share it all with you.
Josiah has been creating Pour Paintings. Here is sampling of just a few of them:
Hopefully, you will be instrumental in helping Josiah NAME his Business so he can officially ‘kick it off’.
Enter your suggestion in the comment section below. We will compile all of the entries. Josiah’s amazing caregivers will decide on the top 3 names. Each of those names will be written on an index card and placed in front of Josiah who will choose the winner.
By the way, Josiah has become quite adept at making selections this way. So, ultimately the decision will be his. The winning entry will receive an original masterpiece created by Josiah.
The contest begins NOW and ends on Saturday, March 20th at 3 pm. That gives you a little over 2 days to submit your idea. The Winner will be announced on 3-21-2021, World Down Syndrome Day.
